A Bit About Me

The Calathea Ornata or Pinstripe Calathea as it is otherwise known is a beautiful variety of its genus. The foliage is what makes this plant truly striking, pinky/white lines run over the waxy top layer of the leaf whilst the underside remains a distinguished purple.

How To Look After Me

All Calathea plants require very similar care, they can be a little tricky but will give you back what you put in. Calathea's prefer life on the shady side so be sure not to place this plant in direct sunlight, a room with a window is all you need. When it comes to watering always check the top two inches of the soil, if they are dry then give your plant a drink, a rough guide would be once every 4-6 days. Just remember never to let your plant sit in water, this can wear log the roots and cause root rot.
